  • Notes
    • In the 1920's, Keith and his two brothers owned a ranch in the Panhandle of Texas, at times running as many as 3,500 head of cattle. They lost the ranch in the depression. He moved to Colorado in 1944 from Pampa, Texas. His love of hunting and fishing is what drew him to Colorado.. He was instrumental in the development of the Gunnison Valley Sportsman's Trap Range. He was inducted into the Colorado Trap Shooters' Hall of Fame in 1983. He ran a hunting camp in upper Ohio Creed for ten years.

Keith was a custom gunstock maker. However, after the accident in August 1985, he never made any more of them. The accident took Manette's life and injured his shoulder so much he felt he wouldn't be able to make a good enough product anymore. He was a member of the Gunnison Valley Masonic Lodge #39 AF & M in Gunnison, and a member of the Community Church.
